65 Mustang idling/running rough and sputtering

if you pull off plug wires 1 and 6 (The ones with the white plugs) pull them both off at the same time and try to run it....Is it the same??

The culprit:

I replaced it with a BWD from Oreilye and she is purring like a kitten.
