From which year is this Mustang?
Hey all - this is my first post at the Mustang forums..
I've seen this (in my eyes at least..) nice 200ci Mustang convertible for sale here in Aalborg and I was just wondering if you guys would know the vintage of this "beauty"? (I'm guessing 1966...?)

RE: From which year is this Mustang?
Unless someone really botched and replaced several parts wrong and drilled the body wrong.. it is a 1966... the horizontal fin grill and the fingered wings are a dead bive away. The mirror looks like one from a 1965 so it could be an early 1966.. but no matter.

Thanks guys..
Now, I was just wondering - how much would such a Mustang be worth in the U.S?
- I haven't seen it IRL - just judging from the picture...
- and trying to compare Danish and U.S prices...

The grill says 66.
Other thing to think about: the seats are not from a 66, and the only blue paint in 66 was Arcadian Blue (alot lighter in color) and Silver Blue metalic. This color looks like Grabber Blue used from 1970 on.
The price starts to go down with non-standard parts and paint are used. Keep this in mind when making an offer.
Here is a link to some paint chips for comparision.

Good luck.[sm=smiley20.gif]

The seller wants around 80000-85000Dkr for it (12900-13700$).....
- of course, I should have told you about the 180% Danish car taxes.... - I could only dream of paying 5000$ for such a car...oh well..

Thats alot of krone to be paying for a modified 1966 mustang. But then again, I have known people to spend a lot more for something they just have to have.
Good Luck...[sm=smiley20.gif]
