Which wire goes to the choke from the firewall to engine gauge harness?

I don't have an electric choke, so let's start from the beginning. What engine, what carburetor, and what year?

If THERE IS NO JUICE GOING TO THE ELECTRIC CARB DOES IT MAKE A WHINNING SOUND WHEN YOU SHUT THE ENGINE OFF?

Nope,

Pull the PCV valve out of the gromet and see if the "Whining" goes away. If it does, either the breather cap is blocked or you don't have a proper breather cap.

Early vintage Mustangs were not equiped with an electric choke. There is no proper provision provided (the three "P"s) in the wiring harness for an electric choke.
Here are just a couple of the many reliable choices you have.

1). install a manual choke kit (Holley has these kits available)
2). wire in a small 10A relay through the ignition circuit to power the choke.

Here are the top two "Idiots Choice Award" for "Ignorance unbecoming a classic car owner".

1). Wired the electric choke through an accessory lead.
2). Wired the electric choke off the B+ post of the coil.

Presenting these awards tonight; Vin Diesel and Mel Gibson.
