Default Fuel Supply for Restomod

I have a 69 fastback that has a '88 5.0 in it. It has been running two external electric pumps on the original tank. This setup has proven unreliable and clumsy. Has anyone ever mounted a late model tank with the internal pumps on one of these? If so, any advice?

there are companies out there that will make a custom tank for your car and your fuel damands that will bolt right in, it might be alittle expensive but it will probably be a better fix for what you need.

Take some measurements and compare your space with the late model Mustangs such as the 1988. You may have to do some mods, but they were available with the internal fuel pumps.
