i own a 73 mach i with the 351 cleveland and all the wiring under the hood has been attempted to be "re-done" well, they finished soon after they started so i need a wiring diagram in a bad way. if anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated.

You could get a reproduction harness, they arent cheap but they are worth the money. 35-45 year old wiring is usually brittle and lived its life. I dont have a wiring schematic but you could see if someone with ALLDATA or a similar program could print one out for you.

They arent really that involved as long as you know what wires go the alternator and coil. Do you have a multimeter?

I agree about the 40 year old wiring. See if this diagram helps you.
