I Have a 67 fast back I just bought over here in the UK. The hood on the car has what looks like a home made rear facing scoop, which has to come off. When you lift the hood, it looks like an O.E. Shaker cut out. Could the car have been fitted with a 69/70 hood as the Shaker to my knowledge was not introduced until later on. Any comments?

sorry I just always wanted to use this smiley? Could it be the thunderbird type scoop? or maybe a mini cowl inductions. don't be surprised at what a PO would do to the car before you got it!! Oh and just so you know 67 hoods have an area that looks perfect for a cut out. that's all the PO probably did was cut that section out and put on a scoop. does it look anything like this? http://www.speedwaymotors.com/xq/asp...tLargeView.htm

Thanks for the reply and smiley. The car is away having SVA test at the moment, so I can drive on UK roads. I will post some pics as soon as I get it back.[sm=thanx.gif]

did you check out that link? is that what the scoop looks like?
