was done on my 2001 gt, which i sold

if your car was already a 8 cyl. and all the suspension parts are straight. i would take them all apart hit them with some engine degreaser, hose em off, sand em down, paint them black, then install new bushings on all of the, it may be 40 years old but all that steel is solid.

well im thinking i might go with this kit
http://www.mustangsplus.com/Merchant...ry_Code=handle

i called them up....they said I can keep the stock hiegth at no extra charge......and to go with the 1" sway bar in the front. and 4 1/2 standard eye....

then ill probaly take eZ adivce on cleaning up the old ones....

what about sub frame connectors ? do i really need them ? do you guys have them ?

that kit looks good, paint the sway bars when you paint your front end parts. dont forget to get new bushings, it makes all the difference.

they said you can keep the stock height at no extra charge? i would drop the front and back.

i wouldnt bother with subframe connectors unless you are going to get a lot of ponies out of your 302

WHEN YOU DROP THE FRONT AND BACK IT GIVES THE MUSTANG A MUCH MORE AGGRESSIVE STANCE AND BETTER HANDLING. IF YOU PLAN ON DOING ANY RACING THE SUBFRAMES WOULD BE NICE

you might want to also look into control arms, and especially spring saddles

At 385 HP you don't need sub frame connectors but they will make it ride tighter around the corners and when you jump it[8D]
