+1 on what 19stang66 said, kind of hard to put part of the coil back on...

Love the firebird picture in the post. Especially with the formula hood.....Yum

Low car + headers = smashed tubes..

I replace a bunch of headers since I like em low too...

I roll the fenders with a 32oz - 48oz deadblow, working slowly from front to rear to front, over and over will roll it up nicely. You can also do it with a lage wooden baseball bat, and there are tools sold for the purpose as well.

Cuttin one coil can drop them a bit too far.. Found out with the 70 GTO, one coil alone dropped it almost 3", I was happy I didnt cut anymore off.. It wrinkles headers on a regular basis.. This kinda shows it. Driving either of these must be done by someone who knows what not to run over, and also knows to stay on the high parts between the track normal people use.. lol.

That is a numbers matching 1 of 276 built 1972 455 HO Formula with a TH400 trans that was originaly a custom factory applied color. It came with functional RAM AIR and the round port 455, it ran 13.0@109 with the previous owner driving. Since then I have made a few changes, so it should be quite a bit faster now. We would rather run our rare cars than put them in a heated garage and never drive them.

Also have two other birds with that hood, a 71 and a 74, the 71 is a 400 car and a basket case, the 74 is a Formula 350 and its plenty rusty from the previous owner screwin up an attempt at body work. All of them are LOW... I have a 4x4 or two, so my cars dont need to be lifted like Glens car is...
