Default HELP..car doestn start!!

HELP everyone haha. I'm supposed to be driving my 65 vert about an hour away for family but it doestn start this morning. We got it yesterday and the shop we bought it from did a tune-up on it like new plugs, wires, points so I don't know why it isnt starting. We drove it around for a half hour last night and it did fine then it stalled on my mom at the top of our street. It was running rough so we hjust thoguht she flooded it. Now it doestn even sound like its sparking. I'mg oin to go grab some starter fluid right now.

Any suggestions?

Let it sit for about an hour. It sounds like your choke is stuck closed. Pull off your air cleaner, and check the choke plate. If it isnt partially open, you need to open it. Get a pen, and stick it in between the flap and the carb body, then hop in the car (dont pump the gas), hold the pedal to the metal and try firing it up. That should do it. If it still doesnt wanna start, there might be something wrong with the work you just had done.

I just tried to starter fluid and it sounded like it wanted to start but just wouldn't completely turn over. Then twice it's just a clicking sound (starter?). Thanks for the help so far

Sound to me like your battery or alternator. When your battery is weak the starter solenoid will make that clicking noise. Your battery might just be bad or it could be the alternator is not charging the battery. Try jump starting the car, that should tell you if its a power problem.
