Rally Pac wiring question

Rally Pac wiring question
I am working on hooking an original rally pac up to my 1966.I installed LED lights on my instrument panel a while back....I am sure the tac /clock has "regular old lights " in it.
With the LED lights the dimmer on the headlight switch doesnt work...it is either full brightnest or nothing.I was aware of this when installing the LED lights and this is normal.
My question is this
1. will the combination off LED and regular lights be a problem?
should I switch back to the old lights in the instrument panel?
2.I have a wiring harness but I cant find what to unplug and tap into to power the tach/clock lights.This is a blue with red stripe wire that taps into the instrument panels lights .
Thanks Scott

Why don't you just get a couple more LED's?
Me, I have resisted the urge to convert the dash lights Vegas Strip brightness. The adjustability of the originals was intended to allow drivers to change the brightness of the dash lights to the albedo (reflected light) of the road, so that looking from road to dash was smooth and easy. I have never had the dash lights in my '97 vehicle more than 50% bright. Lotta night driving.

either all LED or nothing. i wouldn't combine it. would annoy me too much.
as foir the rally pac wiring. the tach is the most confusing as the tach works inline.
There's 3 cables coming from the tach part. one is for the light (i think it's blue). then there's red and black for the tach I believe. Now instead of wiring it paralell to coil it's inline of the wire going from ignition switch to the coil+. basically where you have your resistor wire. when you check at the back of the ignition switch there's one cable about 1 ot 2 inch long and has a connector to another cable. you can disconnect here so you have a male connector and female connector. connect those two to the two rally pac cables
original:
ignition switch -----------||---------------coil+
after:
ignition switch -----------||---------rally pac-------||---------coil+
if that makes sense ...
