As for the girl that hit you, it looks like your back is really starting to hurt. I'd suggest to the adjuster that you may need to see a lawyer because this may be over your head. That will make him more accommodating. Be sure to spec the best parts not just repros.

Bingo. My grandfather had a GTO that some idiot blew a stop sign and made it look a lot like yours. Insurance company wanted to total it but (he being a retired lawyer) was able to make them cough up a **** load to make it as-was. Stay firm with those insurance a$$holes!

i know how u feel, inoct. 05 mine was hit. Insurance adj. wanted to give me 1700, i told him to shove it up his a$$. Took it to a shop that deals only with classics and they estimated it at 3500, so he cut me another check and got it fixed.

If they want to total, make them buy you the exact replacement, not just hand you money. They are required to replace the vehicle, but most people just take the money.
