i think so, with the raised intake and exhaust ports and there is extra meat in these heads too.

I thought there was. I looked at em a while back, awesome heads. Very pricey though. But theyre pretty much race only, if I remeber right.

Read up on the Popular Hot Rodding master engine builder's competition. Then, duplicate what they did.

Im also interested inthis. I have a 351 in my 67 and was considering Heddman headers. I saw on the header fitment chart we have that they make headers that will fit this situation and have no issues with my 1" drop. Would this sound like a good brand for normal driving but would also be good if I romped on it...?
Oops, Im dumb, I must have ADD or something and not read properly. Atleast no one answered me...

What about best heads for a Mild 302 with a Hp goal of 310ish HP? With other mods like a stealth intake, holly 600, 510 lift cam, headers. Also, which would be better? Alu or cast? Ive heard warp issues because of alu changes with heat, but are better cause of less weight. Is one better to use than the other when using nitrous? -Jon

I'd use cast iron with 1.9x intake valves.

yup, or early 351w / gt-40 heads even if you stuck with 1.84 vavles you'd be doin ok but 1.94's are better
