Play in Output Shaft

Default Play in Output Shaft

How much play should be in the output shaft of a C4 tranny? When I drop the drive shaft I can wiggle the output shaft a little. Is that normal or are my o-ring seals shot?

Do you mean wiggle up and down or you can turn the driveshaft back and forth slightly?

Up and down. Also look for a groove worn from where the bushing rides, if there is one youll need to replace the yoke.
