im thinking about buying some ET streets from a buddy but idk if they will fit on my 66 the size is 26x10.5x15 and they are on 15x8in rims so i was wondering will these fit on a 66 without modifying anything

What's the backspacing of the rims?
Its going to be awefully tight and I think the inner fender lip needs to be addressed.

That equates to about a 265/50-15 tire size. I don't see how in the world those would ever fit without rubbing the fenders.

its a 6in backspacing on the rim


and the rims and tires are only $40 so i dont necessarily have to use those tires cause i can get el-cheapos and slap them on the rims

You would have to use an enormous spacer, and probably dangerous.

You can't go deeper than 4.75 backspacing on your car. You would need a 1.25" spacer, no good for drag racing.
