im assuming your going for concours resto, thats why your needing a big block shock tower, because i didnt think the shock towers were different, just the suspension, sorry man i dont have one

I thought the big blocks had the same towers ,but were just stitch welded for extra support. The old S code 67 fastback that I had didn't have any plates or anything.

bigblocks used the same shock towers only the boss 429 cars they notched them and the boss 302 they raced was reinforced whoever told you they was reinforced on a street car doesnt have a clue

Basically the reinforcements are 1/4 inch wrap around steel welded to the towers. On Cougars this was standard but only used on mustang SRQ, and Z codes oh and G codes. Depending on what factory they came out of they could vary in height. this is an example see the wrap around on these

I believe that additional reinforcement was added at Car Craft for the Boss cars and a similar one for Shelbys. As a result it was not a production line item.
