will a 1968 shelby hood fit any of the fastbacks because all the shelby clones i've seen always have the 67 hood?

Yes, will fit on a 67 or 68 mustang, but you have to have a nose peace in front of the 68 hood. Where as the 67 doen not have that front part. See the pic's below for comparision.
I personaly like the 68 better.
