cluster lights
Hello everyone, Im having a problem because my cluster lights dont light up in my 1969 mach1. Ive already replaced the headlight switche (with dimmer inside) and still nothing... my head lights work and all other lights work inside the car. Only problem are the cluster lights... i did look behind the cluster lights and they have a little blub but someone told me those never go out... and you cant go buy those.... is that true... what should i do next... should i look into those blubs or what?
thanks for the help

RE: cluster lights
You can buy them, they're easy to find, and just like any other light, they can go out. However, it's unlikely that all of them would go out at once.
It's hard to diagnose electrical problems without being there and probing around with a voltmeter, but I would check all of the connections back there and also possibly replace the instrument voltage regulator (IVR)

If it is like my 67 coupe the IVR is located and attached to behind the cluster..here is a link to picture...
also check your fuses...had similar problem, went thru everything to find out it was a blown fuse...
