My 65 2+2 is at the factory setting a little higher in the front , I put new stock coil springs in the front and the four leaf in the back , but should've went with the 5 leaf instead for a stiffer ride

Youwill get better fuel mileage if you drop that front a little, that alwaysgoing uphillstance wastes a lot of gas....

my dad had lifting shackles on his 71 fastback in the 80s i also learned to drive in it with the *** end up in the air it handled like crap and traction was crappy in the rain it got worse.you lower a car you only lift a 4x4.

IDK about your dads car,,,, but the 66 hooks the hell up,,,, and it handles damn good.... (will you take my word for it?)

I will take you opinion under consideration though!!

I got a nice rake from new suspension pieces and a slight offset in tire size.

Grab a Trak 4 leaf in the rear and 620 coils up front, with 215/60 14's in front and 215/70 14's out back. I like the stance.
