66 mustang heater problems
This is the first time I have used this site. I have exhausted every mustang parts site I can find, with no success, so I am hoping someone out there in Mustang Land can help me. I recently purchased a 66 Mustang convertable from a seller in Arizona and I am in the process of restoring the car. The previous owner had disconnected the heater, cut and plugged the heater hoses, and cut the three wires coming out of the back of the heater switch, and removed the reostat from the heater box. I have all the parts to rebuild the heater (blower motor, heater plenum, defrost hoses, seal kits, heater hoses). What I can't find is the 3 position heater switch, the reostat (resister?) and the wiring harness necessary to complete the job. Can anyone out there help??

The resistor should also be available from Auto Zone or another parts store local to you.
The switch may also be available there too. You might have to wire it in but they probably have it.
