pushrod length..?

Default pushrod length..?

well, i got the new springs, retainers and locks on today - tomorrow putting on the studs and the rockers - has the stock length 289 hardened pushrods in it but i was wondering, what's the length on them and do i need to change them for my car running the uhm..

GT40P's , comp cams magnum 1.6 roller tip rockers on 5 1/6 - 3/8 studs

id buy a adjustable pushrod that will do the measuring for you then send it out to get the correct ones.

You can get one from Comp Cams that is easily measurable. It has notches on it that relate to certain lengths, so you compare it to the online documentation and figure out what length pushrods you need.

check with your stock size first, it may be right where you need em.

when adjusted to zero lash plus 1/2 turn the tip of the rocker arm should be just north of the center on the tip of the valve, and when you roll the motor over and the valve opens it should be just south of center.

or something like that

*tip* use a sharpie to mark the top of the valve. this way when you put the rocker on and check it you'll be able to easily see where it actually made contact.
