suspension kit?
Hey I'v'e got a 67' coupe. Dropping a 331 in there and I should have close to 380-400hp at the crank. Rear-end is done and I have front disc brakes. What are essential suspension mods? I've seen packages for around 400$ that come with sway bars, springs and shocks. Do you know a good package?

RE: suspension kit?
Here are the parts/modifications I recommend in the order of importance
I. GET A PERFORMANCE ALIGNMENT
I take a print out of the fallowing to the alignment shop, because they will try and do it to fords specifications
Please align to these specs “1967-1970 Mustang, Falcon & Cougar Performance Alignment with Shelby drop”.
These specifications are in order of importance.
1. NO more than .25 degrees difference between driver’s side and passenger’s side.
2. +2.0 to +3.5 degrees caster.
3. -.5 to 0 degrees camber. No positive camber, please. There is no problem having a slight variation from driver’s side to passenger’s side to account for the crown in the road.
4. 1/16" to 1/8” toe in
If you run into any problems attaining these specs, please call me (your phone number here).
II. UCA drop
See my web page onthe subject
III. Roller Spring perches
Make your own, buy them from ORP, or you can get them from me.
roller spring perch page
IV. Adjustable strut rods
Make your own, or buy them from Rosehill performance parts
Adjustable strut rod page
V. 1" sway bar
VI. Slightly better than stock springs and performance shocks such as KBY
IMHO a beter ride that still handles well can be atained with softer springs and performance shocks rather then 620 springs
VII. GET A PERFORMANCE ALIGNMENT!

DO NOT USE POLY BUSHING ON ANYTHING BUT THE SWAY BAR!!!!
This is the basic formula for a car that handles like it is on rails. Also for more understanging of suspension and handling check out my Alignment, Handling, and Bump-steer web page
