i thought late model 5.0's requires a electrical?
any way to tell what year my motor block is or was designed for?

Based on the fact it has a timing cover with a manual FP attached to it, i'd say it was designed for a manual FP.

If you are running a carb, I say stay mechanical....
Just more simple and reliable IMO.
