Default securing torque converter

This is my first experience with an auto trans. setup (C6) and while pulling the engine, the book said too remove the converter attaching nuts on the flexplate and then secure the torque converter. Just wondering what the best way too go about this is?

The easiest way is to use baling wire. Push the t/c back into the trans, about 3/4" then pull the engine away and wire it in. If the conveter does fall out or is pulled out, make sure when putting it in, it clicks in" 3 times! It HAS to lock into the stator shaft (big one) input shaft (little one) and front pump (two flat tangs on conveter. Hope I helped.
