Default Finding an old one

New member here!
I was wondering- Is there anyway to find a mustang we used to own?

It was a 65 Fastback with a lot of engine work done to it.
Unfortunately my dad had to sell it after my parents divorce. I would LOVE to find this car, since it was supposed to be my first car.
If i can get the VIN, can it be done?

Very doubtful, unless you know someone at the DMV or the person who owns it is selling it and has the VIN posted somewhere, or your dad still has the information or name of who he sold it to.

Good luck though, it has been done.

the dmv should be able to tell you when it was last insured and if it was sold and to what state shouldnt they? then try that dmv?
