Kalli, I do not have mine LM-2 in permanently, although I leave it in there most of the time. All you have to do is unscrew the sensors from the tail pipes and plug the bungs with the supplied plugs. It takes me about 20min to pull the whole setup out of the car. FYI, I think the LM-1 is end of sale. They are offering a trade in program for the LM-2s, which are also handheld units.

yah. Summit doesn't sell the LM-1 anymore. I was thinking I can get the LM-1 cheaper because of this (and I don't need the additional functionality of the LM-2).
I'm only interested in Lambda and RPM (and vacuum)
