i checked the tranny and all mounts are good, nothing loose. i had the radiator fixed for $20 and picked up another fan for $20, so $40 plus antifreeze and i am back in commission.

the fan that was on there was a 19" six blade, the replacement is an 18" five blade. it looks more like the origional. i hope it cools as well. i got lucky with the radiator, only one hole had to be fixed and it tested fine.
