Default Can't find brown connector for efi swap?

Haven't logged in a long while , haven't even had time to try and finish up my efi swap. Been to busy with work and trying to build my house and the same time. Not really me but having people do the work for me. Had a few bugs here and there so it didn't come out really like I wanted it to but I did get my 2 car garage. I am really happy that came out out, it was suppose to be 24x24 but it came out 24x23 the engineer made the mistake on my blue prints and when they started building I never bothered to measure finally friday I started measuring everything and that where I started to notice the mistakes of the smaller rooms. I won't be able to finish it, or move in hopefully till the end of this year or around income of next. The good thing is that my horse will have its own stable reserved just for the stand. I work up today and started reading up on my notes and looking on line just to refresh what I had started a long while ago. I keep seeing on mostly every swap it says "brown connector 31" but on my 1990 wiring I have 1 gray and 1 black connector where the brown should be. Could it be that I have a different wiring or maybe I didn't remove that connector before I sold the donor? dumb move maybe. But I thought I was getting a deal paid 1100 for the car removed the motor, trans, gas tank, wiring, computer and other things needed it for the conversion and sold the body for 700. Maybe I should of waited.
