5.0 to carburetor conversion
i bought an early model 5.0 fuel injection 302 engine. The fuel injuection is in the manifold body. i wanted to convert it a carburetor for my 68 mustang. i was wondering if i had to buy a special intake manifold to fit it, or some conversion kit or something like that.

as stated above you need a carb style manifold, a carb and your gonna need to use a 1985 mustang 5.0 HO distributor with an ignition box or you will need to pull efi distributors gear and install it on a points type dizzy or buy a aftermarket dizzy for a roller cam
the 1985 route is a good way to go
The white wire connection is not absolutely necessary, but it's function is to energize the "retard while starting" function of the Duraspark II module. When cranking the engine, the module actually retards the spark so the engine can crank easier. This allows you to run additional initial advance.
