Default Need help with some numbers

Hi guys, I picked up a 68 Fastback J-Code the other day and was wondering if I could have some help identifying some numbers. I sort of know what some of them are but haven't really come to conclude if this was the original engine and tranny that came with the car. Let me know what ya'll think.

No. From Starter:
D2AF 11131-CA

No. From Engine:
C8OE-6015-A

Above the Engine there is a number: 8L2

No. From Exhaust Manifold:
C6OE-9450-F

Transmission #:
C8ZP-7D027-A

Cylinder Heads:
8L6

Then, on the rear of the engine block there is a flat area with a strange number: 9A145781

Any input on originality? Or do I need to keep digging for more numbers?

Thanks guys.

the number on the block pad is a partial VIN. if it doesn't match your VIN, then the engine isn't original.

The starter is from at least '72 and is not original.

The 8L2 and 8L6 codes should be date codes. 1968 november 2 and 1968 november 6, respectively. If those dates are after your build date, those parts are not original either.

There should also be a group code on the heads like all of the other CxOE or DxOE codes. The first digit the the decade (C=60, D=70, E=80, F=90) and the second the year.
