Drive Shaft problems Mach 1 1969
Hi!
Please, help me out here! I dont understand what I have done wrong here!!!
Yesterday I was going to install my old Drive Shaft in my car (Mach 1 1969 351W+FMX). The complete Rear End has been out of the car for new paint and new Bearings and Seals
but the Third Member and Pinion Yoke are all the same. I push the Slip Yoke all the way in the FMX with the Rear End hanging free just to receive maximum distance between the tranny and the Pinion Yoke. The Drive Shaft is still a little to long to make it possible for me to install the rear U-joint. The Rear End has the right position om the Leaf Springs and now I really dont know what's wrong. It feels like the Slip Yoke bottoms on the splines in the FMX but is it possible I have to turn it to get it in one more inch or so.
I appreciate some help and let me know if you dont understand my "english". Thanks!

Okey, maybe I am wrong with the distance but I had the car in the same position on the Jack Stands when I disassembled it and now it looks like it's to long. Do you know if I have to turn the Slip Yoke in a special position on the splines to get it all the way?
Thanks!
Mats
Thanks!
