65 wont start

Sounds like a bad connection somewhere..Are your battery cables good and tight and clean?..Also on the solonoid end where the postive cable attaches?

check the connection between the ends of the cables, the metal things that hook up to the battery terminals, and the actual wire, mine were faulty and needed replacing.

Dont case it yet, replace the battery cables. Mine where so bad (corroded) under the sheathing I could not get a good connection. Charge the batter for a day and try again.

started playing with it again last night and found a black cable going from the back of that starter to the wall just in front of where the glove box is. most of the rubber coating is gone and all the wires are exposed.

that did it. I replaced that ground and cleaned the **** out of the connectors for the terminals and she started right up. I will be going for a short drive today :O)
