If you don't change the cam, stay with a 500 cfm carb. If you do, use a 600. Either way, you'll need to upgrade the exhaust ports to take advantage of your intake upgrade.
I think with Edelbrock carbs they tend to run in 500, 600, 700, and not in 650, 750, etc.
And as far as the Barry Grant carb, (Demon), I think they are out of business.
And oh yea, I agree with 2+2's sizing recommendation.
Too right. Typcally, there's so much flash and extra metal in the exhaust ports, even though you might have fire hose for exhaust, the big pipes are sipping through a soda straw at the heads.
