Default Hood Scoop for regular 69 fastback

anything wrong with it? I've always wanted to do it and soon i'll be replacing the hood. If i go for it, should i go with the shaker assembly or the Mach 1 style built in to the hood scoop? My pony's a good old fashioned Deluxe, not Mach 1.

Mach scoop ~ $100, shaker ~ $1000. How much you got?
Also, if you have an H code original 351w, you should have an FMX tranny, not a C4, IIRC.

$1000--sh*t! I remember trading a complete GT Torino shaker hood scoop to an outfit somewhere around Anaheim for some machine work. Drilling and tapping my Windsor heads for screw in studs. If I remember the outfit was Mustangs Only or Mustangs Unlimited. I could be wrong but I remember the guy didn't hesitate. That was 21 years ago! Damn, I'm getting old[:@] I'm so old I can't even remember the name of the shop. I do remember they used to have mustang car shows about once a month out in the parking lot. Boy, those were the days.

not stock 351. dropped in about 7 years after the owner got it. The tranny may have been replaced but I can't really tell with all the crap covering it. I've seen the shaker assemly for $464, just got to get the hole cut in the hood. Price ragne is not really known yet. I'm still in the planning stages. All I'm sure of is some replacement parts that obviously are needed.
