need a driveshaft for my 1970 mach 1 with a 351 cleveland and a c4 tranny. I was wondering if a fox body mustang with a c4 would work or not? If not, are there any other later model cars that would be compatible? I've searched but can't seem to find any definate answers on it.

Oh I should mention the car has the original 9" rear but the engine is actually a 1972 351c engine.

It needs to be the correct length with about 3/4" of yoke slip. Often it is hard to find one to fit and you may need to have one cut down or made. Round here it runs about 150 for cutting, welding and balancing an old shaft.

I doubt it would fit just call any big diesel shop around you they can make you a driveshaft.One here charged me like 300 bucks but it was rated higher then i needed.

I actuall had a fax body drive shaft and had it cut down and balanced to go into my 66

not the answer I was hoping for but thanks guys. I guess maybe the best option is to just buy a new one. I see cj pony has them for about 220.
