Default 200CI I6 Consistent Exhaust Leaks

This is the third time a Fel-Pro exhaust manifold gasket has failed me on my 200 I6. The gasket deteriorates and begins to leak after about a week-2 weeks of daily use. The engine is bone stock as is the exhaust. How do you guys seal up your manifolds? Should i use UltraCopper and a gasket or just a gasket or UltraCopper? Thanks!

Welcome to a straight six. When I bought mine it leaked. When I rebuild the engine I had the manifold machined back to flat. That seemed to help a lot. Made it almost an entire year before it went again, but not as bad this time.

Soon I'll be putting a header on, and I"ll be using this gasket. I already have it and have to say it is much thicker as advertised. I'm thinking it will help on the manifold as well as the header.
