Yes it can be done but you are push I ng the limits as to what the body can handle.
I have a 65 laying down over 400hp to the tires. I have subframe connectors and Monte Carlo bar along with the Shelby style traction bars.
I cannot get traction for ****. Also I have cracks In the A pillars. Also I have noticed after several years of hard driving that my body panels do not line up as well as they once did.

For the trouble it would be to adapt the car to fit, or to service it once it's in, I would stick with a 302 based set up. You can go with a dart block and build a 363 cu. in. Which will Kay done a solid 500hp. It will cost about the same or less and be easier to service.

The correction from 5000' to sea level should be much more than that, IIRC. Where did you dyno it?

Had it dyno'd at Motiva in ABQ on Montgomery and Louisana. Those guys are awesome!! The car was put together and running but there were a lot of issues. It hadn't gone thru a proper shakedown. Plus I'm under-carbed even for that altitude. After the dyno they just gave me the sheet...I did the guesstimate on my own.

A rule of thumb is 3% loss per 1000 feet of pressure. Sounds like a beast of a mill.

Gotcha! After I sort it all out I'll get it dyno'd here and see what I got at 45' elevation.

There's a guy in ABQ with a blue 67/68 FB. I think he's running a 408W with multi stage NOS. I heard that thing is unreal!

The catch 22 is now you will be on a different dyno also.
Maybe Motiva can tell you the corrected numbers?

Another Albuquerque person here. Haven't had much done to my 65 in some time cause I am trying to buy a new house but I hope I can be moved before the the fall. I want to stroke my 289 to a 347 and install a T-5. Trying to find a shop around town to work on my car for decent prices is a pain in the bottom.

T5 may not hold up depending on the 347...
