That's what everyone wants them for Mine was in almost showroom condition tho with full leather a 351 and a floor shifter (yes, a floor shifter) But we have since parted ways. Finding one is not easy. Much like working 8 track tapes.

I have a working AM/FM 8-track player in my 67. As for the working 8-tracks...I'm on my fourth KISS double plat 8-track tape...the one with Detroit Rock City. You can pick up a 'lot' of 70s rock on Ebay for $20.

On a side note, I connected my 8-track player to a small 60w amp with four speakers, the amp has an input connector so that I can by-pass my 8-track AM/FM and play songs from my iPhone. It's all hidden underneath the 8-track module on the deluxe console.

Hello, reviving an old thread as I stumbled on this looking for info on these old AM 8 tracks. I have one and was trying to figure what it might be worth. I had a 1967 mustang that I got in about 1981 and got rid of around 1991. I was 18 when I got it and it had a kind of cool history in that a Weyauwega, WI car dealer bought it for his kid for his high school graduation. The kid ordered it as he wanted, then didn't like it and traded it for a station wagon. The wife of a guy I worked with had it and that's who I got it from.

It was a 289 4 speed with tachometer, AM-8track, overhead and lower consoles, plastic backs on seats. Just sort of optioned up. Being 18, I pulled the AM-8track and put in some other stereo.

I can't find my ***** right now, but I've still got the AM 8 track and wondered what it might be worth. Any ideas?

Thank you! I still wish I hadn't sold that car, but I was in school at the time and it ended up turning in to a computer!
