Default Is it possibkle to raise/loweer the top manualy?

Just wondering. If my motor/pump ever fails, or the power system fails, is it possible to raise it manualy? Would i HAVE to disconnect the power system? Is it not possible?

Not sure about a 67, but the SN95s can be manually raised anyway. I wouldn't want to do it more than the one time when I learned it failed while down though.

Would you even believe it if I told you its the same exact pump and cylinders?

Yup, no BS.

So, yes, it can be done. If its a beater and you dont plan on fixing it. It can be made ALOT easier by pulling the cotter pins from the cylinders and disconnecting them from the frame assembly. Then your not fighting the hydrolic pressure when you raise and lower.

I have to be honest: when my moter fails someday, I may NOT fix it if disconnecting the system will allow me to raise and lower it manually. I don't NEED the power top, and would fankly prefer the manual if its possible, as I feel its one less thing to fail......how hard is it to raise/ lower one thats been completely disconnected?

And is it hard on the top to raise/lower it manually?
