i have a 07 with a cdc chin spoiler, my body man said not to paint it at all,he has a ford lighting pick up with a chin spoiler he painted and now he said he is always touching it up because of just driveing it.he gets rock chips, and all the other road hazards out there.he said he wishes he would have just left it black.my car is black and i didnt get the chin painted and it looks great! hope this helps, jeff
