Has anyone experienced a rapping or knocking sound from the brakes(front in this case), between 10 and 40 kms/hr ... 5 and 30 mph? It happens all the time between these speeds when brakes are not applied and seems to go away when applied. The knocking may be there at higher speeds but I can't make it out. I recently had the brakes inspected and they had a little less then half left on them.

There isn't any significant shudder from thebrakes at any time.

Can anyone tell me what's going on and if this isa major safety issue?
