Default What do you think about this idea?

So I have an 04 Mustang 40th. Ann. Has GT hood and spoiler. I'm wanting to paint the hood scoop, spoiler, back panel between the tail lights, and bottom part of the rear bumper if you know what I'm talking about. I'm thinking of flat black, but then again gloss maybe... I think the flat black to have the Mach 1 look more. But what kind of paint should I use you think? I could use my paint gun and mix the paint up. Or I could get just a flat black special fiber glass paint and spray it like that. FYI I am a good painter and have experience, just trying to get some of your opinions. Thanks.

My car is Dark Shadow Gray. They made DSG Mach 1's, and I guess I'm kind of going for that look, just no shaker hood. And I'm from St. Peters.

I think it will look good! I have a DSG 04 gt with similar accents. It has dd black bullits, black in front of scoop with writing on scoop itself, black fuel door, black spoiler, black bumper letters, with a chin spoiler and grill delete.

Now i did mine in black vinyl gloss, but i absolutely love it...has a nice agressive look...not so much the flashy chrome in your face look!

Either way you go i think it will look great on a DSG car.

I think the DSG can pull that look off, just tint the windows out, get some nice black rims and she'll look good

throw some pics up if you do it
