Brake Caliper Paint Kit
I have a 2002 GT, torch red. I like the look of the painted calipers so I was thinking of painting mine red to compliment the exterior. Have any of you guys used a caliper paint kit that you can reccomend or do you know of a good one?
Thanks

This is the one Im getting. Superior to your spray on. It will go on much thicker, its an epoxy for better durability, and smooths out as it dries. I have use your in store caliper paint and its ok, but I would rather do it right the first time and not have to redo it again!

Go to Walmart they have Dupont brake caliper paint for 15.00 its comes with everything you need. Its been on mine for two years now and its still bright and hasn't chipped. Its a paint on type. It comes in red, yellow and blue.

do you think the walmart dupont caliper paint in blue would match/look good with a sonic blue mustang? i dont want the blues to clash and then get pissed every time i look at my brakes.

Actually it is a sonic blue color, but I think after you put it on the gray calipers it may darken a bit.. Only thing I could tell you is to go buy it try it on the side of the caliper and see. I think if you give it two coats it will be ok. It tells you to I think it was 12 hours apart.

Buy any "brake caliper" spray paint you can find in an auto parts center of some kind. I have heard the two part "hand applied" paint is more durable than the spray on type. Depends on what kind of weather you intend to drive the car in. Besides, you can always touch up the calipers each spring with the spray type anyway.
