Default RIGHT TURN SIGNAL FLASHING RAPIDLY

My right turn signal has been flashing rapidly for a year now. I thought one of the bulbs was going to burn out but they still flash. Could the flasher under the dash be bad or should I try to change the bulbs first ?

Try the bulbs first. Sometimes mine completely burn out, other times it's just when I hit the breaks they're out

Normally this is a bulb issue, either one is burnt out or the wattages are too low. Check all bulbs first.

I was always under the impression that one bulb flashing faster than normal was indicative of a burned out blinker on the opposite end of the car. I'd just try a new bulb.

It was the flasher after all. I've had the car since 2003 and never had to change any bulbs. I did discover that the rear bulb was the wrong one (a 3057).
