Default Need fog light installation information

I have a 2001, Ford, Mustang 3.8L coupe that I want to install fog lights into. I have the fog lights, but I don't have a wiring harness. I read some places on the internet about the wiring harness could be already in the car under the dash, all one needs to do is drill a hole in the firewall and pull it out and run the lines. Other places I've read that it's already ran to the front of the car but hidden somewhere. Before I go buy a wiring harness, could anyone tell me if you have installed fog lights on yours and if so did it have the wiring harness already in the car but just hidden away.

Thanks

I believe this is what you're looking for. Looks like you need the switch as well. But the wiring SHOULD be there.

Thanks, i'll check that out. I mainly needed to know if the wiring was there in the car somewhere from the dash to the front of the car.

I am not so sure the v6's had wiring ran but you could easily stick your head up under the bumper to see if you see the hrns's.

Looked under the bumper and didn't see any wires heading toward the bottom where the fog lights would go. A ford mechanic in town said they could be behind the fender wells taped up or something. Is there any truth to the rumor about the harness being behind the firewall? I was hoping that the harness was already somewhere in the car.

I read up about people putting in toggle switches and running their own wiring harness, but I'd like it to be done as if it was done in the factory. Any suggestions?

I found a sight carparts.com that has the switch for 20.00. Goes in blank right by the button to defrost back window. Just can't find those wires
