A/C problem 2008 mustang
Hello,
I just bought a used 2008 mustang and already having an A/C problem,
what is happening that it blows hot air for about 15-10 mins when I start it for the first time of the day then it runs normally and cold. I've checked the fuses and Freon its all good some told me to get a new pressure button or pressure key from ford part dealer and some told me to program the computer on the car because its delivering weak electricity to the fuse box or something like that ,
to remind
the problem seems to appear only when I leave the car for 3-4 hours stopped and when i start it and start the ac it blows hot air until 10-15 mins then it works fine...
anyone having a similar problem or can help me what to check next ?

Without an A/C manifold guage set to properly diagnose, it's hard to say.
Could be as simple as what is stated (pressure switch), could be a sticky orifice tube (will require opening the system and recharging it), or it could be an imminent compressor failure.
Guages will tell you what is going on.

Thanks,
the garage i went to told me that the fuse box is receiving cold electricity so its weak and doesnt go throw to the compressor (compressor working fine after he gave it electricity) im gonna get the pressure switch and hope it works fine , love driving the car but in ~50 degrees its like getting barbecued without the A/C

2008 Mustang GT AC problem
I have a 2008 Mustang I just bought. My air does not blow cold air for the first 20 to 30 minutes and it's mostly coming out in the middle vent. I know it has already been recharged before I bought it. What could be wrong?

Anyway ive had almost the same problem i have changed 2 pressure switches (1 at the front of the engine other near compressor near at the back) costs roughly 30$ and worked like a charm

2008 Mustang GT AC problem
Thanks for the reply! I took my car to shop and found out it was low on freon. He showed me where the compressor was kicking on and off. He found a leak around a quick seal in which he fixed and recharged the freon for $175. I so hope my problem is fixed. It's been 3 days now. So far so good!
