I'm 19 as well and all I have to say is don't be a moron and respect your car and its limits.

I know a few other kids my age that are 18 and 19 with a new Mustang GT and they are complete morons with no respect to the car. This gives a terrible image to anybody under the age of 20 having this car and makes me completely understand why the older part of this site rags on us.

I have automatic with Breenspeed 93 tune and 3.73 gears,I also have underdrive pullies. I can start off in drive and floor it, it will spin through almost all of first gear and grab second gear very hard. I have not ridden in a automatic car with 4.10 gears but they may be a little too low on an automatic.

I agree I am very new, but I've had this car for a few months now and I have only done aestetic work on it so far. I actually do not plan to upgrade to bigger tires, get 4.10 gears, or get any type of blower or forced induction in the near future (Year or three). I just had thought about it in the past. Thinking about the benefits and cons that would come with such things. I am trying to do some research for a while before I pick a Tuner, CAI, and perhaps 3.73 gears. I don't consider myself overly rich...but when all you do is save..you tend to want to spend money. My first car was a 2000 Pontiac firebird, and this car just handles plain better in every way. I already feel as attuned to the car as I did with my firebird, which I had for almost 4 years. Everything on it handles so well.

Exactly, I don't think its necessarily the age but the maturity and respect people have. I love my car, I take extremely good care of it and I'm very careful with it. I know the limits, I know whats safe, and I don't do anything that could jeopardize the car. My friends actually are the ones telling me I drive too cautious and slow... I love my car, I don't want anything to happen to it!!!

Who on this site doesn't???
