Here's a link to the sticky in the 4.6L spec section! (stickied it myself)

You had to tilt the motor? Mine cam out in 2 hrs and went back in in 3. It was the 3rd time ive pulled it. Rotate the trans 45* so the starter part of the bellhousing is higher, then it just comes out simple. Same going back in and then use the lower Quick disconnect on the hydraulic elbow, its easier to get to once in. Also, remove the battery/battery box and in 5 mins, you can have access to all the sensors in and a ton extra room. -Jon

hey yonco, i think you are correct about
rotating the tranny before pulling it back.
it's just kinda tuff, when you are doing it
by yourself on jack stands, for the first time.
i lowered the engine 2-3" but also ended up rotating
the tranny a little bit, before it would come out for me.
next time, i may try to rotate it the full 45* as
you suggest, just to see if it will work.

well you are very welcome BruceH... it looks
like we are inching ever closer to the perfect
clutch R&R. if someone with a top mounted
supercharger can verify yonco's no engine
lowering procedure, i'll add it as a supplemental
to the sticky.

My GT500: I installed a centerforce dual friction with a Fidanza steel flywheel. Didn't change the slave or input shaft bearing.
Yonco: I wish I would of know about the 45 degrees, I was tilting it the other way!
Hammeron: Thanks for the write up you did on your install. I referenced it for lowering the motor after having it go all over the first time.
Here's a pic of the aftermath. The stock flywheel and pressure plate have burn marks all over them. I don't think it's normal.
