I ran slp LM with Prochamber and hi-flows. It sounded okay but a little sloppy and would trumpet at mid to full throttle. I added 12" resonators to clean the sound. L/T and O/R prochamber would be even louder and the trumpeting would be even more evident. I wouldn't recommand that set-up. My friend has L/T, O/R prochamber and MAC axlebacks. That set-up sounds good.

Hey guys, sorry I know this threads a little old but I just installed my O/R prochamber and I am having problems. I also have Mac axlebacks. It CAN sound good but the drone is bad sometimes and in gears 1 to 3 it makes a bogging down sound when I let off the gas, like its got bad back pressure or something. If I keep the gas pedal in even a little it won't do it. Anybody have this problem? Or is that part of the prochamber sound? Thanks

Hi Violator. MAC mufflers are notorious for drone. Doesn't matter if you pair it with a X, H, P/C, they'll still drone at different levels. As for letting off the gas, if you don't have any other mods to the engine, cams, cmdps, things like that, it sounds like normal decel to me. I had a full MAC setup and mine would do the same as you described.

Two things. 1, I laughed my **** off when I was reading the replay from myself before i noticed it was my replay. I was like, omg... that guy said exactly the problem i had. I should post a reply.

Didn't have the money at the time but eventually i did change to pypes long tubes, o/r pypes h and classic 40 series flows. Flows suck. Second set that has lost the baffle in the middle of muffler. Sounds like crap and flowmaster wont warranty if you have headers or mid-pipe that's not stock. I will never buy another flowmaster item again.

I like my O/R prochamber a lot but like the rest have said I would just be patient and wait, it will sound so much better when you get the whole setup installed.
