SLPs will sound nearly identical to the pypes muffler deletes. The difference is in the tips. The Pypes are single wall tips and the SLP are double wall tipped. This really wouldn't affect the sound.

my exhaust is BBK LT's and o/r x pipe, M80's midmounted, MBRP muffler deletes.
M80's are like 12" glasspacks, sort of.
you could switch out those long glasspacks for smaller ones, or a bullet style muffler like dynomax race bullets, M80's, magnapacks. and keep the pype bombs.
this is what my exhaust sounds like. LT's and deletes are not too loud, as long as you have a resonator or race muffler to smooth it out some.
