2011 GT Convertible Track Numbers
Hi everyone, I'm new here and I am sharing some real world track numbers for a bone-stock 2011 GT convertible. It was my first time and I didn't do anything to prep the vehicle as I wanted to get an idea what the car would do in the real world at a stop light. I did 3 runs but they were really close to the same with 2 of the runs having identical 60' times. Pretty much I stabbed the throttle when the light turned green.
The car is a 2011 GT premium convertible with an automatic, 3:15 gears, 19" Pirelli tires running 35 psi, and I had a half-tank of regular 87 octane gas. The car had 2800 miles on it.
60': 2.182
330': 5.886
660': 8.878@82.16
1000: 11.443
1320: 13.575@107.70
Track conditions were:
bar: 29.41
temp: 53.6
hum: 71%
calt: 513

I spun every time, even with the lousy 3:15 gears. Unfortunately, its the only ratio available with the automatic.
My goal was to simulate a real street scenario: warm night with the top down, Camaro pulls up next to me, I got 35 psi in my street tires and a half tank of crappy 87 octane.
Maybe I will go back to the track in the spring. Only next time I will run 93 octane and lower the air pressure.

I'd rather see how fast I could get my car to go in real street trim as well.

I'm losing some horsepower running 87. I think the 412 horsepower figure is with 91 octane.
If I can run 13.5 with my tires spinning for the first 60 feet, I'm good with it as long as the Camaro is slower under the same circumstances.
